On the second day of Advent

Emma got this exquisite vintage mistletoe brooch.
This piece was made circa 1910 by American jewellers Krementz & Co. of Newark, New Jersey. The yellow gold crescent is punctuated with twenty-five natural seed pearls, graduated in size, and nestled inside is a sprig of enamel and gold mistletoe sprinkled with diamonds. It's not only beautiful, it should also come in useful should Emma need to have mistletoe on hand were a certain Spanish teacher to pass by.
