Emma shops at Urban Outfitters

Well, it seems she does - it is where she bought some of her new shoes after all. So I thought I'd see what else they have that she might like.

There's this Kimchi Blue peter pan collar pointelle cardi ($20) which I think Emma would like.
And I love this Cooperative scalloped striped sweater ($30) and with the sweet scalloped edging and stripe plus polka dot combination, not to mention the little row of buttons on the shoulder, I'm certain Emma would too. I think her only problem with it would be the same one I have - choosing between this colourway and the navy and white.
I think she'd almost certainly take a look at the various Cooperative conversational (print) peter pan blouses ($39) like this bird print one.
And if Emma were looking for some new skirts for spring perhaps these would catch her eye.

So you still want to dress like Rachel Berry? Skirts

It's pretty simple, if you want to dress like Miss Berry, you will need skirts and they must be mini. That's the most important rule. Other than that you may choose plaid, polka dots, prints, stripes or denim.

So here we have a selection of Berry-esque skirts - there are kilts, flippy skirts, button-through skirts and skirts with bows. There are florals, diamond prints and dots. My favourites are the ones marked with gold stars - the plaid skirt with pockets, the stripe button-through skirt, the navy a-line tie-front mini with contrast piping, the floral button-through and star print button-through, the tangerine paperbag waist skirt, the yellow circle skirt with gold buttons and the navy diamond print skirt.

Of course there's always a multitude of minis suitable for Rachel at Forever 21. Here are just a few of them

And of course we shouldn't forget Rachel's other favourite store - Urban Outfitters.

The Cooperative printed skirts are at least very similar (if not identical in style) to the simple floral and bow print skirts Rachel wore in "Grilled Cheesus". I really like the Cooperative buttoned skirts too and the Kimchi Blue paperbag skirts, as well as the contrast-edged button-up skirts.

Just add a Rachel Berry worthy top or knitwear (also here) and you'll have yourself a Rachel outfit. To complete the look add coloured tights, knee socks, legwarmers or ankle socks (as you see fit). And loafers are the footwear of choice, of course.

So you still want to dress like Rachel Berry? (Part II: dresses)

Okay, well, it's actually a little easier to understand nowadays since she's been wearing pretty vintage-inspired (and in some cases actually vintage) dresses, giving her an all together more sophisticated and put-together look. I'm approving of her shift from argyle to polka dots too! Good move Miss Berry - I hope this isn't a passing thing.

Let's start by looking at the possibilities from Rachel's favourite non-designer/affordable shops - Forever 21, Urban  Outfitters and H&M.

Rachel wears lots of Forever 21 -  dresses, sweaters, coats and tops. And the most recent sighting of her at Breadsticks has her in the 'silky diamond print' dress with its delicate print and sweet row of bows down the front

It was available online up until about three weeks ago in the colour Rachel wears but unfortunately is no longer, though you may still find it in stores. But you can currently buy the same dress online in a grey/tan colourway for $23
Also available right now are these pretty dresses which would fit nicely into Miss Rachel Berry's wardrobe
